- Description
- This Request for Proposals is for a Repair and Alterations Indefinite Quantity Term Contract consisting of, but not limited to, providing all labor, materials, supervision, equipment and tools necessary for general repairs and alterations (including installation of Partitions, Doors, Electrical Work, Hardware, etc) to Government-owned and leased facilities at various locations, throughout Northern New Jersey, including Essex, Sussex, Hudson, Monmouth and Passaic counties, and Staten Island, N.Y. This includes the Peter W. Rodino Jr. Federal Building where the New Jersey Service Center is located. The contract period will be for 12 months with four (4) additional 12 month options which the Government will have the unilateral right to exercise. The options will be priced and evaluated as part of the overall proposal submitted. The contract will be awarded on a best value basis. The estimated cost is $1,000,000.00 to $1,500,000.00 per year. Individual delivery orders will be placed utilizing pre-priced line items as stated in the solicitation. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the base contract period will be required. Additionally, a performance bond in the amount of 100% and a payment bond in the amount of 50% will also be required once award of the contract is made. Instructions for completing these will be included in the Solicitation Package. This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside.
