- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of Safety Paper, BEP Stock #1SP00407 in accordance with BEP Specification No. P:S-1C, dated April 8, 1996. An unrestricted full and open competitive solicitation is planned. The contract type will be Fixed-Price, Requirements type. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at "D" Street, between 13th and 14th Sts., S.W. Washington, D.C. 20228. The period of performance will be for one (1) twelve (12) month base period and four (4) 12-month option years. Estimated quantities for deliveries to the Washington D.C. facility are: 1,500,000 sheets for the base year and each option year. This procurement will be negotiated and awarded according to the procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 15. Offerors will be requested to submit a material sample consisting of 5000 sheets to the Washington, D.C. facility with their offer for evaluation. The source selection decision will be based on overall best value to the BEP, price and non-price factors considered. The solicitation will be available on or about October 18, 2002. BEP is posting this announcement, as well as the final solicitation on GSA?s Federal Business Opportunities webpage (formally EPS) at http://www.eps.gov.
