Description
Marine Forces Reserve intends to negotiate an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, (IDIQ), firm-fixed price, delivery order type contract, with first article test requirement for wooden, embarkation, reusable boxes. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR part 12 and 15. Solicitation M67861-02-R-0166 will be issued on or about 16 August 2002. Resulting contract will be for one (1) year base period, with four(4) one year option provisions. The maximum value for the base term and each option period shall not exceed $1.5 million, and total maximum value for the base and all options shall not exceed $5 million. Successful offeror will receive a minimum guarantee of $300,000.00 for the base year only and $1,000.00 for option years. Both a technical and price proposal must be submitted in accordance with the instructions set forth in the solicitation. Technical p roposals will be evaluated on past performance and technical capability, which consist of two sub-factors: quality and experience. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, each initial offer should contain the offeror?s best terms from a price, past performance, and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined to be necessary by the Contracting Officer. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7) interested parties may download the RFP upon issuance, via the Internet World Wide Web at http:// www.eps.gov, and http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Note: All Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a DoD contract.
