- Description
- The government intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed contract with Becton Dickinson Microbiology Systems, 7 Leveton Circle, Sparks MD 21152 for the lease/maintenance, and test kits utilized by the BACTEC 9240/9120 Blood Culture Testing Systems. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery of the following: ITEM No. DESCRIPTION QTY 445475 Bactec 9240 Instrument 1 445570 Bactec 9120 Instrument 1 440075 Instrument Starter Group 1 per instrument 440076 PC Systems Starter Group 1 per computer system 445562 Double Stand for Instruments 1 441024 PC & Accessories 1 445563 PC Stand 1 442194 Plus Aerobic/F Media 5 cases per month 442260 STD Aerobic Media 8 cases per month 442265 Lytic Anaerobic F/ Media 8 cases per month Silver Service maintenance 1 per instrument Plan for Option years 3-5 The resulting contract shall be from the 1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sept 2003 with priced option provisions to extend the term of the contract for four one year options. The SIC code is 3821, and the corresponding NAICS code is 339111. Potential Offerers are hereby notified that the solicitation will be available for download at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self certifying that neither the requestor nor the principle corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
