- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington is intending to award a sole source contract, for Laptop Computers for system integration in Radio Frequency (RF) analysis equipment as required for performance of Naval Criminal Investigation Service and Technical Services Support. The upgrade for the Laptop Computers needs to be delivered by 31 August 2002. The intended sole source is Communication Solutions, 10552 Philadelphia Road, White Marsh, MD, 21162. The contractor is responsible for meeting system integration requirements of current equipment and installation of proprietary software. The contractor is also responsible for Analog-to Digital converter cards that are mated to proprietary system. Negotiations are being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b). The Fleet Industrial Supply Center intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price Contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 443120. Note: This is not a request for competitive quotes and this procurement is not available for competition; however interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the Navy's requirement.
