- FISC Norfolk Det. Philadelphia hereby modifies subject synopsis to remove the sole source restriction and to advise that subject requirement will be issued on a full and open competition basis. Subject requirement will be processed as a commerical items acquisition effort using simplified acquisition procedures as outlined in FAR part 12 and 13. Technetium is a radioactive marker used in an array of medical testing scans. A partial list of the technetium based products that will be required during the one year POP is ~260 syringes of TC99M, ~1,600 syringes of TC99M MDP (Medronate), ~75 syringes of TC99M Mag-3 UD, and ~275 syringes of TC99M Myoview UD. The vendor will be required to deliver the technetium based products directly to Naval Hospital Great Lakes, at any time 7 days a week 24 hours per day. Delivery of the material herein will be within 3 hours of notice. The performance period for this effort will be 12 months starting 1 Oct 02 thur 30 Sept 03. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price requirements purchase order will be the result of this acquisition effort. The NACIS code for this action is 325412. Fedbizops note 22 no longer applies to this acquisition.
