- This announcement is issued for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract for the rental of equipment listed. The quantities listed are estimates only. The quantities listed under the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) estimated the total rental period that may result from any one order or combination of orders for a one year period. Actual rentals will be through orders placed during the ordering period of 12 Sep 2002 through 11 Sep 2003 for the first year. Option year 1, if exercised is for the ordering period 12 Sep 2003 through 11 Sep 2004. Option year 2, if exercised is for the ordering period 12 Sep 2004 through 11 Sep 2005. The amount of rental months and shipping quantities are estimates only. A rental period of individual equipment may be for one month or longer depending on the duration of the project. Any rental beyond this initial period may be extend ed weekly or daily. The transportation charges are firm fixed price for the life of the contract, as are the rental rates. The Contractor must deliver the TDD system(s) within seven (7) calendar days of notification by the Contracting Office (verbal or written). In all practicality, longer notice will be given when possibly, often at least thirty days in advance. Orders will be placed against the contract by delivery order. The delivery order will specify the exact equipment requirements, the required start up and delivery dates, the estimated duration of useage, the point of contact for delivery and/or pick up. The rental period is based on a 28-day month. Please see specifications and clauses for specific information regarding billing process. The first delivery required against the contract issued will be needed 16 Sep 2002 at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Item 0001 - Dehumidifier (lge), Qty 24 months. Item 0002 - Dehumidifier (std), Qty 1 month. Item 0003 - Dehumidifier (med), Qty 2 months. Item 0004 - Dehumidifier (sml), 1 month. Item 0005 - Cooling Coil (lge), Qty 12 months. Item 0006 - Cooling Coil (std), Qty 1 month. Item 0007 - Cooling Coil(med), Qty 2 months. Item 0008 - Heating Coil - (lge), Qty 15 months. Item 0009 - Heating Coil (std), Qty 1 month. Item 0010 - Heating Coil (med), Qty 2 months. Item 0011 - DX-A/C (std), Qty 3 months. Item 0012 - DX-A/C (med), Qty 1 1/2 months. Item 0013 - DX-A/C (sml), Qty 1 month. Item 0014 - Blower Unit (std), Qty 8 months. Item 0015 - Shipping Trips (Deliver and Return Equipment), Qty 10 each. Items 0013 through 0024 (same as items 0001-0012) will be for 1st Option Year if exercised. Items 0025 thru 0036 (same as items 0001-0012 and items 00013 - 0024) for 2nd Option Year, if exercised. Rental of Temporary Dehumidification equipment that will provide a dry and temperature conditioned environment to support ongoing projects for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on location and off site areas, i.e. Portsmouth, NH; Groton, CT and Norfolk, VA Deliveries as mentioned above will be to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH; Groton, CT and Norfolk, VA.
