Description
The purpose of this modification is to extend the quote due date to the 20th of August 2002 at 4:00 PM CST. ************************************************************ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0117 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. This procurement is set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421730. The business size standard is 500 employees. Offutt AFB intends to issue a purchase order for to replace two condenser units on the rooftop of Bldg 458. The description of the project is as follows: Statement of Work Wing Headquarters Building 458, AACE Room, Scope: The work covered by this statement of work includes the furnishing of all labor and material in performing all operations. Replace two rooftop units with two 7.5-ton commercial, high efficiency, cooling only rooftop units, with economizers with relief dampers and rain hood, hail guards; high and low pressure controls, time delay controls and two-stage programmable thermostats. Ductwork: Roof curb adapters fabricated from galvanized steel to adapt the new cabinet to the existing style curbs and provide a watertight connection. Extend ductwork to match up with new equipment. Security bars need to be installed in supply and return air ducts. Security Bars: Security bars must be ? inch diameter steel welded vertically and horizontally six inches on center in angle iron frame that will be anchored to concrete roof decking through ductwork and secure anchors to frame by welding. Submittal: None. Codes: All work shall fully comply with the 2002 National Electrical Codes. All material shall be UL or CTL labeled or listed. A qualified electrician shall do all electrical work. Electrical: Provide two 3-phase 208/230V fused disconnects NEMA-3 enclosures and wiring for low voltage control. Conductor: Conductor shall be copper with THHN insulation. Provide color-coded to identify phase and voltage. Demolition: Demo two existing rooftop units, and discard as appropriate from premises. Security Area: the work is in a high security area at Offutt AFB. Contractor personnel must sign in and out plus be escorted at all times. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO http://www.ccr.gov TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE.
