- Description
- This is a 100% small business set-aside procurement. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System is accepting offers from responsive/responsible contractors for general construction work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 23332. Size standard is 27.5M. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operation, including demolition and removal of existing building materials. Work shall consist of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, general construction, etc. Project scope of work includes general construction at all three (3) VA facilities with coordinated phasing plan. Construction cost range is estimated between $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. All interested bidders shall submit a written response to the attention of Mr. J. E. Regan, Contracting Officer (04A1-H). All qualified responsive/responsible bidders may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. No telephone request will be honored. A pre bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, September 5, 2002, @ 9:00AM, in Building #4, Room #373-E located on the Highland Drive facility. Site walk-thru will be conducted after the pre-bid conference. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Bid opening will be conducted on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 @ exactly 10:00AM in Building #4, Room #362-E located on the Highland Drive facility. Award is subject to the availability of funds for fiscal year 03.
