- Description
- This is a 100% small business set-aside procurement. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System is seeking professional qualified responsive/responsible transport companies to provide wheelchair van transportation to veteran patients/beneficiaries at three (3) VA facilities in the Pittsburgh area. Contractor must provide response time as stated in the contract specifications. Contractor must comply with all licensing and other applicable requirements of federal, state and local government regarding the operation of patient transport for special needs. Contractor must have a base of operation physically located in the Pittsburgh area and maintained residency for a minimum of three (3) years. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 485991. Size standard is $6.0M. Period of performance is for one base year (10/1/02 - 9/30/03) and two (2) one year renewals. Renewals are at the Government's option. All interested parties shall submit a written response to the attention of Mr. J. E. Regan, Contracting Officer (04A1-H). All qualified responsive/responsible offerors may submit a proposal which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. No telephone request will be honored. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Monday, August 26, 2002 @ 11:00AM, Building #4, Conference Room #373-E at the Highland Drive facility. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Proposals are due Friday, September 13, 2002 @ 10:00AM. Award is subject to the availability of funds for fiscal year 03.
