- Description
- This procurement is for the Replacement of Two (2) Chillers in Building 310, and their associated equipment systems, within all Federal, State and local regulations and codes. This includes the removal of two (2) existing chillers and all of their associated materials, and the installation of two (2) new 100 ton Screw Compressor Air Cooled Chillers, with current totally updated systems and materials. The estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code for this contract action is 235110 (Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors) and the Small Business Size Standrard is set at $12,000,000.00. This procurement is issued under Full and Open Competition. Clauses 52.219-4 and 52.219-23, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference and/or Adjustment of 10% each respectfully are included in this solicitation, for Hubzone and Small Disadvantaged Businesses participation. The participation of Small Businesses, Small Veteran Owned Businesses, Small Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses and Small Woman Owned Businesses in this procurement action is welcome and highly encouraged. The issue date for the solicitation is scheduled for 09/19/02, and solicitation packages (consisting of specifications, drawings, bid bonds and instructions) will be available in hard copies only. Requests for a solicitation package must be forwarded in writing to the issuing office and contact person noted above, and shall contain the full company name, company address, a contact person, telephone number, facsimile number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and small business status.
