- Description
- The Office of Justice Programs(OJP), National Institute of Justice(NIJ) attends to award on a sole basis a purchase order to the Association of State Correctional Administrators(ASCA), 13 Court Street, 6th Floor, Middletown, CT in support of six ASCA Performance Measures Workgroups. ASCA workgroups foster research within the State Departments of Corrections that the Government OJP considers most beneficial to NIJ's mission statement. ASCA will work in partnership with NIJ and other Federal agencies to identify priority areas for research and encourage the corrections community to implement programs and practices that are evidence based and will advance knowledge in the field of corrections. The information obtained through the ASCA workgroups will assist NIJ in fostering good relations with the corrections field; and will encourage the use of evidence based programs and practices in the area of corrections. This purchase order shall be negotiated in accordance with the authority of 41 U.S.C. 2152(c)(1) - Only one responsible source with unique capabilities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION
