- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY - The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the University of San Diego, 5998 Alcala Park, San Diego, CA 92110. The purpose of this procurement is to implement activities to establish an Institute for the Advancement of Health Policy with Vulnerable Families at the University of San Diego. The procurement is mandated in the FY 2002 DHHS Appropriations Report, Public Law 107-116. The contractor shall: develop a policy research study on a specific aspect of the health care needs of vulnerable populations in San Diego County, to include families of children with special needs; and provide a report that synthesizes the major policy issues identified by the Institute and the implications for underserved and vulnerable families. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. The period of performance for this project is seven months. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. 02-BPHC-118-AB
