Description

The FDA/CFSAN intends to issue a sole source purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures to T.L. Schwarz. FDA has a need for professional services to consolidate and update retail food interpretations, opinions, answers to inquiries, and related information. Duties include: 1) Making technically accurate and current, all information that has been issued by the retail food program to supplement understanding and use of the core retail food documents. 2) Indexing the updated information by entering it into a pre-established categorically searchable electronic database; establishing links within the database with the actual documents; and readying them for distribution via web-posting and CDs. Informational and interpretive documents have been issued in various formats over the years. T.L. Schwarz drafted many of the interpretive guidance documents, including those for retail foods. This notice is not a request for quotations. The SIC CODE is 7389. The NAICS Code is 54161. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.232-33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment.
