- The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Associate CIO for Operations, intends to award a simplified acquisition to MOBIUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INC for continuation of software maintenance for the proprietary products ViewDirect for MVS with options: MVS Core, Packet Production, 10 CICS & VTAM Server Sessions, Microfiche ? Basic, Remote Job Output with VRO, and Tape View Direct. Additional maintenance for Document Direct with Options: OS/390 Server Access, AFP, DJDE/Metacode, and Image shall be provided. This proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties that feel they can provide the services may respond by submitting their capability statements to the email address in the notice, including prices. All submissions must be received with fifteen (15) calendar days of this publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
