- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to procure conference/event planning services. The objective of the contract is to hire services to supply technical and administrative assistance to EDDI in the following areas: 1) Pre-Conference Planning, 2) Conference Implementation, and 3) Post Conference Evaluation and Follow-up. The contractor will be required to work and perform on-site services at USAID?s headquarters in the Ronald Reagan Building (RRB), downtown Washington, D.C. as well as the conference-site at the Royal Swazi Convention Center in Mbabane, Swaziland. The contractor is also required to work with and serve as a technical resource to the EDDI staff. These services include, but are not limited to, conference planning, designing, conducting, monitoring and evaluating all aspects of the EDDI conference to be held in Mbabane, Swaziland (Africa) from inception to completion, including follow-up activities. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
