- NA This project will provide full stream flue gas emission reduction systems for the Clear AFS Central Heat and Power Plant (CHPP). Design and construction will consist of three (3) full stream baghouse collection systems (one for each boiler), an enclosure to house the associated equipment; new flue gas ducts and stacks, new induced draft fans, and connection with the ash collection system. Work also includes equipment and structural demolition with remediation of hazardous materials. Options to the contract include the selection of two (2) 2-megawatt diesel-electric generators, research and obtain an ADEC Clean Air Act ?Permit to Construct? for the generators, purchase one (1) of the 2-MW generators, design and construct an addition to the filtration enclosure to house two (2) 2-MW diesel- electric generators; purchase one (1) additional, identical 2-MW diesel- electric generator; and the removal of the existing three (3) stacks and six (6) COM testing shacks from the roof of CHPP. The solicitation will consist of a combination of performance and prescriptive based drawings and specifications and will be advertised as a one-step, best value Request for Proposal. A prorated monetary incentive is included in the contract should the su ccessful offeror complete the base construction between 650 and 699 days after award. NAICS code: 233310.
