- * The sole purpose of this solicitation is to solicit quotes in anticipation of receiving fallout funding at Fiscal Year End. Funding is not now, and may never become available for this requirement. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the purchase of one (1) DSP 9002 Hunter/MAC High Capacity Computerized wheel balance or equal. One (1) DSP 8500 Hunter/MAC High Capacity Computerized wheel balance or equal. Two (2) EEWH305A Snap-On Wheel/Tire Mounting machine or equal. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All quotes must be for all the items as stated. Partial quotes will not be considered. Written or oral offers will be accepted on RFQ F13LGT21830100. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. FOB: Destination for delivery is Dover AFB DE. Note that all FAR clauses can be obtained by accessing the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Terms, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-27, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires 52.222-48. The clause at DFAR 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses are cited to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance Payment Program. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at hhtp://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Award will be based on lowest price and best value determination. The Government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement.
