- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation F32605-02-Q-0027 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 4813 - Telephone Communications, Except Radiotelephone and the North American Industry Classification System Code is 513330 - Telecommunications Resellers with a size standard of 1,500 employees. (v) Contact Contracting activity for contract line items, quantities and installation instructions. (vi) Provide equipment, programming, and installation of equipment required to upgrade and improve current telephony system. The equipment requested must be from AVAYA as this is the system currently used at Grand Forks AFB. (vii) All deliveries shall be FOB Destination Grand Forks AFB, 45 days after contract award. (viii) Provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (ix) Evaluation of offers will be based on cost and the ability to meet the requirements. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.212-5 (Dev) Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Deviation), applies to this acquisition. (xiii) The following clauses will also apply: 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- Central Contractor Registration, 52.237-2 Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment, and Vegetation, DFAR 252-204-7004 Required Central Contracting Registration, 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. (xiv) n/a. (xv) n/a. (xvi) Quotations shall be mailed to the 319 CONS/LGCA, 575 Tuskegee Airmen Blvd. Bldg. 418, Grand Forks AFB 58205. Offers are due to the 319th Contracting Office by close of business 28 August 2002, 5 PM CST.
