- Description
- The Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), California, has a requirement for a commercial acquisition in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. The solicitation number for this acquisition is: F04700-02-T-5055. This purchase order will include contract line item number (CLIN) 0001: Pressure wash and flush fuels, greases, dirt, and hazardous wastes from trenches at the Birk Flight Test Facility, Building 151, Bay 3, North and South, at Edwards AFB. In addition, assure that waste stream is properly identified and disposed of in accordance of in accordance with EPA and CAL EPA guidelines. Personnel should be trained and certified to deal with potential trench and chemical spill hazards and confined space/safety requirements, as well as comply with security, federal and state EPA, and Department of Transportation guidelines. The contractor will be responsible for storing necessary chemicals while ensuring or transferring chemical product or during transportation. The contractor will also be responsible for notifying the proper authorities while en route or while on-site of all chemical spills and mishaps they may cause. The contractor will be liable for any clean-up required. Please note that the period of performance is critical to this requirement--work is expected to begin no later than Thursday, 5 Sep 02, and conclude no later than Tuesday, 1 Oct 02. This acquisition is a 100% total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562112 and the size standard is $10.5M.
