- Description
- SYNOPSIS: Provide all tools, labor, material and equipment to replace two Champion HR10D-25 air compressors with 2 new air compressor systems. The new air compressor shall be sized for a minimum of 48.5 cfm displacement at 125 psig using 460V, 3 phase service. Each compressor shall be provided with a minimum 250 gallon tank, pressure regulator, and an alternator. Each tank shall have 2 compressors. The compressors will operate in series. The work shall include at a minimum; the removal and installation of air compressors, disconnection and reconnection of all electrical wiring, air piping, and miscellaneous requirements. Work shall be performed at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Houston, Texas. The performance period is sixty (60) calendar days from award date. The estimated price range is between $0 and $25,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive quoter. The anticipated award date is September 6, 2002. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program Emerging Small Business Reserve. Only quotations from Emerging Small Business (ESB) shall be considered by this agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235990 with a size standard of $12 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
