- Description
- The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Department of Justice intends issue a sole source contract for Hotel Lodging of approximately 15 rooms for the period October 1, 2002 through September 31, 2003 to the Sheraton Suites, North Asaph St., Alexandria, VA 22314. The contract may include one, one year option to extend the term of the contract. The Sheraton Suites is the only known source available to provide 15 rooms on a continual basis and that is located within 3 miles from the Federal Courthouse in Alexandria, VA. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons/firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
