- Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 335312 and the size standard is 1000 personnel. The services required for this acquisition is the repair of MEP-012A generator set engine, Cummins model # KTA38-G23 (NSN 2815-01-236-3844). Work is required to bring engine within operating parameters set by manufacturer. Replace cylinder head. Inspect for reuse or replacement per manufacturers tolerances. All services are to be inclusive of pick up and delivery of generator set assembly to 49th Material Maintenance Group, 1273 Bear Path Road, Holloman FB, NM. Repaired generator must meet all manufacturers operational and functional levels for generator size and capacity. Offers will be evaluated on past performance and on price. One attachment will be e-mailed to prospective offers upon request (1) the applicable Wage Determination 94-2511 REV (21). Acceptance will occur upon completion of the required inspection and testing by personnel from the following: 49 MMS/BMEP SSgt Hancock or other designated personnel Holloman AFB, NM 88330-5000 The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - - Commercial apply to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following clauses contained within 52.212-5 are also applicable: 52.222-19, Child Labor--Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration. In addition the following clauses are included by reference and are applicable to this requirement: 52.247-34 F.O.B. Destination; 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 52.252-6 Authorized Deviations in Clauses; 52.253-1 Computer Generated Forms; 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Deviation); 5352.242-9000 Contractor Access to Air Force installations; and 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, As amended.
