- Description
- Solicitation GS-03P-02-DXC-0018 is for Cafeteria Food Services at the Social Security Administration Complex in Woodlawn, MD. The contractor shall establish and operate in the contractor's name, the food services facilities as described in the solicitation, for the purpose of dispensing food, nonalcoholic beverages and other such items in accordance with all terms and conditions specified within the solicitation. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The period of the contract is for a base period of five (5) years, December 1, 2002 through November 30, 2007 with the possibility of two five-year option periods. The award will be made through informal source selection procedures to the contractor whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The Source Selection evaluation criteria to be utilized is as follows in descending order of importance: 1) Menu, 2) Management Plan and 3) Past Performance. Throughout the contract term, the successful offeror will operate two cafeterias at all times on the campus which houses between 5000 and 6000 employees. At commencement of the contract period, scheduled to begin on 12/1/02, the contractor will operate in both the Annex Building and East Building while renovation is conducted on the main cafeteria in the Operations Building. Upon successful completion of the renovation, the offeror will remain in the Annex Building, close the East Building cafeteria and open operations in the new Operations Main Cafeteria. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 722310. The notice of solicitation availability will be posted on the Feb Biz Opps website. In order to receive a solicitation, the offeror must submit a copy of a valid business license, a valid Dun & Bradstreet number and a IRS Tax ID number prior to distribution of the request for proposal.
