- Description
- This acquisition is to provide elevator maintenance and repair on forty-five (45) elevators at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Contractor will be required to provide all management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for total door repair services. Maintenance will include preventative, remedial and emergency. Contract period will be from approximately 01 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003 with four one-year option periods. Option 1 period of performance 01 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2004. Option 2 period of performance 01 Oct 2004 through 30 Sep 2005. Option 3 period of performance 01 Oct 2005 through 30 Sep 2006. Option 4 period of performance 01 Oct 2006 through 30 Sep 2007. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) proposed is 811310 and the business size standard is $6M. This requirement is unrestricted (full and open competition). We anticipate issuing the RFP on or about 22 July 02 with a closing date on or about 10 Aug 02 utilizing the Government's Electronic Posting System (EPS). This solicitation will be an Internet only and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means.
