- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and management necessary to perform PMIS, service calls, and repairs as required to maintain HVAC equipment systems and associated equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements and specifications, and requirements listed in the solicitation. The Contractor shall perform, for each HVAC system, a systematic examination, cleaning, lubricating, operation of system, adjustments, alignments, calibrations and minor repair and replacing worn or broken components. The Contractor shall also provide all labor, supervision, material, supplies, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary to perform "Regular Working Hour" and "After Regular Working Hour" service calls (routine and emergency) and "Repair Work" not covered under the PMIS work. The PMIS work shall be covered under the Firm Fixed Price Work. All unscheduled work items (i.e., service calls and repair work) shall be covered under the Indefinite Quantity Work. All work is at the Worchester Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center, Worcester, MA. The solicitation is issued by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. The NAICS code for this procurement is 235110 with a size standard of $12,000,000. This solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. The period of performance is one calendar year with options for up to an additional four calendar years. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE CONTRACTS OFFICE. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised for solicitation issued after May 31, 1998, failure to registered in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing our web site at http:/www.efdnorth.navfac.navy.mil or by referring to DFAR Subpart 204.73. Bidders/Offerors should submit verification of their firm's registration in the DOD CCR Database with their Bid or Proposal. Those firms not currently registered in the CCR should process their application immediately to ensure registration prior to any award.
