- NA CORRECTION: The NAICS Code is changed from 233595 to 235950. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to initiate a negotiated, best-value procurement for the repair of elevators at F.E. Walter and Beltzville Dams. The acquisition will be a negotiated, best value procurement performed using the procurement process prescribed in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Proposals will be reviewed for completeness in satisfying the requirement of the RFP. The proposal will be evaluated on their merit against the following factors: (1) Demo nstrated experience and past performance with respect to elevator repair and repair work similar in scope, (2) Organization, detail, and completeness of description of personnel, equipment, materials, methods, and procedures to be utilized to complete the elevator repair work for each elevator, (3) Conducted site visit to two elevator locations, (4) Level of organization, detail, and completeness of project schedule, and (5) Price. The RFP will be available on or about 15 August 2002. Contractors must reg ister on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after the issue date of the solicitation. If any information changes during the advertisement period, contracto rs are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notice of the solicitation or any amendments. Hard copies will not be available. Proposals will be due on or about 29 August 2002 at the close of business (3:00 p.m. ET). Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code is 233595 with a size standard of $12 MI LLION. Affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Award will be made as a whole to one offeror. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DoD?s Central Contractor Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
