Description

NONPERSONAL SERVICES: S--REFUSE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, containers, compactors, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Refuse Collection and Disposal Services, at Lackland AFB (LAFB), Military Family Housing (MFH), Lackland Training Annex (LTA), Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC), Kelly Field Annex (KFA), West of the Runway, Field Grade Housing (FGH), and Billy Mitchell Village (BMV) Family Housing areas, which are located East of the Runway, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, commercial practices and as described in the Statement of Work (SOW). A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated, with a base period and four (4) option periods, commencing on 01 Oct 2002 or date of award whichever is later. This action will be 100 percent set-aside under the Small Business Administration 8(a) competitive program. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 562212, with a small business size standard of $10,500,000.00. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Trade-Off procedures, resulting in the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 16 Aug 02. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.eps.gov). No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors shall register at www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
