- Description
- The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division's Procurement Services Staff, intends to award a sole source purchase order, using simplified acquisitions procedures to American Science and Engineering (AS&E) of 829 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA, 01821 for Micro-Dose Inspection Systems to include a transmission x-ray, single backscatter (Z)X-ray 2X-4X digital zoom, reverse video, density expand, penetration 19 mm of solid steel or equivalent, 66 cm (36") a conveyor, baggage extension tray, console mount, and installation and operator training, 12 month maintenance and support warranties with four additional option periods of 12 month maintenance and support. The period of performance will be from the date of the award through August 31, 2003. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes nor will a formal solicitation document be issued.
