- The solicitation for this project will be available to review and print on the FedBizOpps web site in approximately 15 days. The Black Upper Willow Fire Interior Fence Project consists of 576 rods new construction; 5,360 rods reconstruction, total of 5,936 rods using 4-wire fence. All H braces will be galvanized steel. There are an estimated 33 single H braces, 72 double H braces, 6 angles, 14 90 degree corners, 5 rock cribs, 500 steel posts, 100 rolls of barbwire, and 100 rolls of smooth wire. Gates will be wood and wire at original location. Snow clips will be used in selected sections of fence. Contractor will furnish all material and will remove old wire and steel at selected sites. Elevation is 5200? to 8400?. Access east of NV State Route US 95, Forest Roads: #084, 086, 087, 087A, 161, 691. NV State Route US 290 will also access most of the above listed Forest Roads. Fence sites are accessed by 4x4 vehicle, ATV (4 and 6 wheel drive), and pack horse. Est. price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Est. start date is 09/30/02 with 335 days for completion.
