- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F02601-02-T0008 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under North American industry classification system code 811310, standard industrial classification code 3536, and size standard $6 million. SERVICE TO BE ACQUIRED: (V) Services required are preventive maintenance and the inspection and load testing of base hoists in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The Statement of Work is attached along with the applicable Wage Determination 94.2511 REV 21. IMPORTANT NOTICE: You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATA BASE. (REF DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration). A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD 27 AUGUST 2002, 1000 AM, AT THE CONTRACTING OFFICE. PARTICIPATION IN THE SITE VISIT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Contract start date is 1 October 2002 thru 30 September 2003, and includes three option years which the government may or may not excercise. The government reserves the right to award to the other than low offeror, if it is in the Government's best interest. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XVI) Quotations are due to 7th Contracting Squadron, 381 Third St, Dyess AFB, TX 79607, 9 September 2002, 1500 local time. Arrange this with the POCs listed in XVII.
