Description

F64605-02-R-0002, This is a sources sought synopsis to acquire services to perform the management and operation of a Commercial Travel Office (CTO) at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. The intent of this study is to determine competition in the market. This service will ask the contractor to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide commercial travel services. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be made available in the Government solicitation. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR INQUIRY SUBMITTED AS A RESULT OF THIS SYNOPSIS. A solicitation shall be published this summer. Respondents capable of satisfying the requirements stated herein should respond in writing via e-mail, mail or fax to Darlyne Pangelinan at the below address or e-mail address. Provide a narrative identifying business size (small, small disadvantaged or large) and experience performing the same or similar services. Please send the information to: 15th Air Base Wing Contracting Squadron/LGCB; 90 G Street; Hickam AFB, HI 96853-5230, Attn: Darlyne Pangelinan; or e-mail to Darlyne.Pangelinan@hickam.af.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561510 ($1.0 million). Once available, this solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov as no paper copies will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. The government contemplates award on or about 18 Oct 02, with a performance start date of 02 Dec 02. The resultant award will be made on an all-or-non basis to include a basic period and four six month option periods. This notice serves as preliminary information and does not obligate the government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, or obligate the government to pay for proposal costs.
