- Description
- The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Polyester Film Sleeves, Letter and Legal sizes, 3 mils thick, polyester sealed on one long side and one short side by using either ultrasound or heat. No adhesive can be used. Polyester Film either Dupont?s Mylar Type D, ICI America?s Melinex Type 516, or 3M?s Scotchpar Industrial Grade Polyester Film or equal. The contract awarded as a result of this IFB will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The term of the contract will be for a Base Period of twelve (12) months plus four (4) twelve (12) month Option Periods. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 322214 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid that will be considered by NARA. Copies of the IFB, which will be available on or about August 27, 2002, may be obtained through the Federal Business Opportunities web site at www.fedbizopps.gov or http://www.eps.gov. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. All contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those Contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the IFB through their e-mail addresses. No telephone or fax IFB request will be accepted. *****
