- This Procurement is restricted to shipboard habitability sources. All responsible vendors may submit a quotation. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-02-T-0303 applies and is issued as a request for quotation. This procurement is a small business set aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE is 336612 and the business size standard is 500 . Fleet Contracting Center Mayport, FL intends to purchase on a full and open competitive basis preservation prep. And painting of two 40ft plane personnel rescue boats. Naval Station Mayport FL 32228. Ship Point of contact for site visit if required is BMC White 904-542-3044. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for the line items as follows. SCOPE OF WORK 1. REMOVE DELTA TWO AND THREE FROM THE WATER 2. REALINE ENGINES AND SHAFTS ON BOTH BOATS 3. REPLACE SPURES ON ALL FOUR SHAFTS. 4. REPACK STUFFING BOXES ON ALL FOUR SHAFTS ON TWO BOATS 5. REPAIR/REBUILD FIRE PUMP ON EACH BOAT 6. REPAIR/REPLACE EXHAUST ON DELTA TWO AND THREE The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-1, 52.211-6, 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 252.212-7001, 252.204-7004 and 252.225-7001.
