- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the following: 1. Bare Welding Rods - in accordance with MIL-E- 21562 and MIL-E-19933. 2. Covered Welding Electrodes - in accordance with MIL-E-24403 and MIL-E-23765. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. The products must meet QPL qualification requirements per FAR 52.209-1. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. The resulting contract will be for a base period of performance of one year after date of contract with four optional years. This commercial solicitation (negotiated in accordance with FAR Part 12) will be issued on or about 21 August 2002 with a closing date 16 days thereafter. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to joshua_c_carter@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. This office will maintain no bidder list. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
