Description
NUWC Division Newport intends to solicit proposals for the fabrication, testing and delivery of DT-338() transducers. Three (3) First Article Units will be required. The Government reserves the right to waive First Article if offeror can demonstrate that the requirements of the Statement of Work have been met. Delivery of First Article: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI. A five (5) year ID/IQ contract with FFP provisions is anticipated. Each year?s production qty. for DT-338() transducers is up to sixty (60) units. Delivery of production units: NAVSEA Detachment, Williamsburg, VA. Award will be made on the basis of "Best Value". Technical evaluation criteria are technical approach and past performance. This solicitation will be unrestricted. NAICS Code is 334419; size standard is 500 employees. Clearance to the CONFIDENTIAL level is required. The Critical Item Specifications (CIPS) for the DT-338() transducers are classified and not available on the web. Drawings are not manufacturing drawings and will be provided for information purposes only. Drawing and CIPS are subject to security approval and will be furnished once the solicitation is issued. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 09/17/2002. To obtain CIPS and drawings send a written request or e-mail notification to Matthew F.
