- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to accomplish exterior building repairs at the Naval Reserve Center, Mattydale, NY. The work includes removing existing gypsum wall board, batt insulation, receptacles, vinyl base, metal studs and gypsum sheathing at exterior walls and the repair of existing precast exterior wall panels. This repair includes the installation of new steel columns and beams to tie the wall panels into the structure, installation of gypsum sheathing, metal studs, batt insulation, ACT ceiling track, vinyl base and GWB. The issue date for specifications is 26 August 2002. Estimated cost range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 233320 and the size standard is $28.5 million. This solicitation is being issued Unrestricted. Availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge, however, some specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective offerors are required to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for this project when specifications become available. Official planholders will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. If you fail to register, the Government cannot be responsible for your being notified of any amendments to the solicitation. All contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Offerors should submit verification of their firm's registration in the CCR database with their quote.
