- Description
- 1. Vessel required: U.S. or foreign-flag self sustaining RO/RO vessel for voyage described below. Vessel to move approximately 48,000 SQ FT/ containers, helicopters, rolling stock and breakbulk cargo and ammunition (+/- 10% chop) based on the schedule and ports provided below. Minimum required speed 14 knots laden in moderate weather. Owner to warrant that any and all regulatory compliances are maintained. Selected vessel to provide detailed diagrams of vessel in order to prepare stow plans. Offerors must identify any IMO restrictions regarding stowage of hazmat and vessel must present proof of DG certification and cargo stowage plan with offer. Owner to provide all lashing gear for containers and a slewing stern/quarter ramp. 2. CARGO DESCRIPTION: 48,000 SQ FT/containers, helicopters, rolling stock, break bulk cargo and ammo (+/- 10% chop) based on schedule below. HAZMAT: Ammo new 299,655 lbs. Class 1.4E, 1.1E, 1.1D, 2.1, 2.2, 3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7.1 , 8 and 9 Cargo Dimensions Longest Piece 637 IN Highest Piece 150 IN Heaviest Piece 8500 lbs Widest Piece 129 IN Super cargo: 6 2A. Load: Free-in 2B.
