This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 02 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2002. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL 30 SEPTEMBER 02. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation, #F43SFS21650100. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 Notice: This acquisition is set aside for small business and is under NAICS code 235910, with annual gross revenue not to exceed $12 million. Items to be procured: 250ea median Jersey Barriers, must have D-ring end connectors and forklift points, 12.5 ft long 22.5 inches wide at the bottom, 8 inches wide at the top, 32 inches tall, 10 inch radius. Barriers shall be new . Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor. Registration at: www.ccr2000.com/. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Evaluation will be based on price and price related factors. Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (JULY 2002), with quote. An electronic version is available for download along with a quote sheet. FAR clause 52.212-4 (FEB 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
