Description
The FAA has a requirement for an Airport Surveillance Radar Tower Raising (ASR-9)Syracuse Int'l. Arpt. Phase one (1)forty-five (45) calendar days. This includes the dismanting and transporting the steel five 10 foot sections from Weschester County Airport, White Plains,NY and leaving it disassembled near the existing radar building in Syracuse, NY. Phase two (2) forty-five (45) calandar days. This includes the erection of the 50 foot steel tower, installing the ASR-9 antenna waveguide supports and associated electrical work. Evaluation Criteria: Upon completion of the pre-qualification process, qualified contractors will receive the package. Failure to provide this information shall eliminate the contractor from receving an RFO. Past Performance- Please provide the following information: A list of the last three (3) prime contracts completed during the past five (5) years similar in size, complexity, scope and FAA experience working on airports. Basis for Award: T! his is a Best Value Procurement. Past Performance, Financial Capability- Firms shall prove that they have sufficient financial resources/rating required to complete a project of this magnitude. The following information shall be provided: Bonding capacity, Insurability, Credit Worthiness/History. Basis for Award: This is a best value procurement/past performance, financial capability evaluation and cost will be used for the basis of award. The Government reserves the right to award on initial offers without discussions or to conduct one on one discussions with one or more offerors. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality in price in order to select the greatest value or "best buy" offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest price offered. This solicitation is Small Business. NAICS- 234920.
