Description: The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to General Electric Corporation, GE Corporate R&E Center to continue ongoing development of a prototype data-driven computer-graphics tool for facial reconstruction from skull shape measurements for the Laboratory Division of the FBI. The program is for basic operation of the system and provide for the creation of a face model according to face shape and skin thickness. This follow on contract award will be to develop and provide the necessary subroutines which will enable the addition of all of the facial features to each facial surface generated by the basic program. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. See Note 22.
