- Description: Modification to original sysnopsis: (Changed issue and response date, title of SOW, and percentage of male and female offenders) The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services in the Lafayette, Louisiana (Lafayette Parish) area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Aug 2000 Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), Amended May 2002 and in addition, was locally amended by the Community Corrections Manager as of May 31, 2002 . A requirements contract is anticipated. The estimated performance periods for the services are: Base Year: 09/01/03 thru 08/31/05; Option Year 1: 09/01/05-08/31/06; Option Year 2: 09/01/06 thru 08/31/07; and Option Year 3: 09/01/07 thru 08/31/08. The services required are estimated to be 75% for male offenders and 25% for female offenders. The estimated number of inmate days required are 11,696 for the two-year base period; estimated 5,840 inmate days per contract year for option years 1, and 2; and estimated 5,856 inmate days for option year 3. The solicitation will be available on August 9, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is October 10, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
