- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plans to issue an order on a sole source basis to ILAC/IAF Conference and General Assemblies, Berlin, Germany, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose and objective of this requirement is to pay for 27 registration fees for attendance of the Laboratory Accreditation (SOLAII) Standards in Trade seminar at the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) meeting to be held at the Hotel Berlin, Germany. ILAC/IAF is the only source handling the registration process for this seminar. The seminar will take place September 21, 2002 through September 28, 2002. The anticipated award date of the order is on or about 5 days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement no later than the response date above. A determination by the Government not tot compete this proposed contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
