- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F02601-02-T0131 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under North American industry classification system code 813110, standard industrial classification code 8661, size standard $6 million. SERVICE TO BE ACQUIRED: (V) Catholic Program Coordinator. Contractor will serve as the coordinator for the Catholic Parish at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base under the supervision of the pastor of Christ the King Parish. A minimum of 20 office hours a week is required. If the Catholic Program Coordinator is absent for an extended period of time during the contract period, they shall be responsible for the continuing performance of this contract. Replacement personnel shall be subject to the approval of the Wing Chaplain or her/his designee. Contract start date is 1 October 2002 thru 30 September 2003. Must be knowledgeable in Catholic theology, experienced in working with children and have taught and/or administered CCD. Contractor must have a background and experience in developing chapel publicity in support of the total religious education program. Typing skills are required. Contractor must have organizational, management and communication skills. The government reserves the right to award to the "other than low" offeror, if it is in the Government's best interest. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause Representations and Certifications- 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XVI) Quotations are due to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, by 9 August 2002, 1500 local time. Arrange this with the POCs listed in XVII.
