- Description
- Provide materials, parts, tooling, labor, test equipment, technical manuals, and facilities to provide evaluation and rework of the following avionics components utilized on the U.S. Coast Guard HH65 aircraft. The U.S. Coast Guards intends to award an Indefinite delivery-Indefinite quantity commercial contract on a limited sources basis in accordance with FAR 6.303-2. The period of performance consists of a base year and four one-year options. This contract will also incorporate three (3) one-year award terms that may be awarded based upon contractor performance extending the period of performance to a maximum of eight (8) years. Delivery to USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5001 is required within sixty (60) days after receipt of material. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. The Government intends to use FAR Part 12 for the acquisition. All responsible sources must request a copy of the solicitation, in writing, no later than 8 July 2002. The telefax number is (252) 334-5240. Award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government considering technical capability, price, delivery, and past performance. No technical data is owned or available from the U.S. Coast Guard with the exception of a special calibration drawing for the Airspeed Indicator. Sources shall be certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the items submitting prices on and shall have access to parts and applicable specifications needed to rework the required items in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer?s (OEM) current specifications and procedures. Attention: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBES)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the forms of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
