Description

NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 by issuing Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number DTRA02-02-T-0047. DTRA Acquisitions Office intends to award a sole source purchase to Windermere Information Technology Systems under the guidance of simplified acquisition procedures. Windermere Information Technology Systems is the only known source to provide maintenance support services on obsolete Analytek (Tektronix) Digitizing Systems. The cont ractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to provide off-site calibrating and repairing of existing 2000RV2 mainframes, 2000P Processor Boards, 2000T Timer Boards and 2004/2008/2016 digitizing modules. Performance of Performance will be 01 Sep 02 through 31 Aug 03 with two one-year options. The proposed procurement listed herein is set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 with a small busines s size standard of $5.0M. Interested firms have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to identify their capabilities in writing. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotes. Qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purp ose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination b y the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
