Description
NAICS - 233320. General Services Administration (GSA) is soliciting competitive proposals, for Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for general construction services with design/build capabilities to include, but not be limited to: Interior and exterior building construction and repair, alterations and enhancements including but not limited to electrical, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, mechanical, security, architectural, landscaping, storm drainage, exterior restoration, waterproofing, repointing, cleaning, sealing and other repair/alterations or construction or demolition services as specified, design-build services, earthwork, miscellaneous drainage structures such as culverts and headwalls, pavement repair and construction and other miscellaneous minor civil work items. The primary performance areas are the following Zones: Zone I - Alaska; Zone II - Washington and Idaho; Zone III - Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado; Zone IV - North Dakota and South Dakota; Zone V - Minnesota and Wisconsin; Zone VI - Michigan; Zone VII - New York; Zone VIII - Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont; and Zone IX - California and Arizona. Awards will be made by zones within the primary areas. Zone I is a partial 8(a) set-aside. Zone II is a partial HUBZone set-aside. Zone VII is a partial HUBZone set-aside. For zones with partial set-asides GSA will make at least two awards to the special program participant group. All other types of businesses (including the set-aside category) are encouraged to propose for the unrestricted awards. The duration of the contract(s) shall be for a period of one year with four one-year options. The maximum ordering limitation of each contract is up to $35 million per year per contract and $35 Million per order. This negotiated procurement will be accomplished by using source selection procedures, which will result in award of a firm fixed price contract to the contractor(s) offering the best value to the Government. Technical ability is more important than price. Any documents related to this procurement will be available via the Internet only. No hard copies will be available. Contractors are responsible for downloading their own copy of all documents. These documents will be in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format and will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 19, 2002. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any information or documents in the special notices, the solicitation and amendments, if any. Contractors can also register to be notified by e-mail of new postings including synopsis, solicitations, and amendments to the site. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
