Description
THIS IS A COMBINED PRE SOLICITATION AND REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR A ONE YEAR BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT. NO SEPARATE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. PLEASE PROVIDE DESTINATION BASED ON DELIVERIES TO CONUS US. NSN 5680-01-379-5818 EDGE MARKER SYSTEM: Rapid runway repair edge marker system with the following characteristics:140 Bases and 152 Tops:Each base is a 30 X 48 X 3/4 inch solid black rubber mat with two 30 inch loop fastener strips installed. Each top consists of a 1 inch thick molded polystyrene inverted 60 degree V. Each face of the V is 30 X 20 inches and has fluorescent orange retroreflective sheeting installed. Bottom edges of the V have polyester hook fasteners installed to mate with the base fasteners. Marker base provided with six 2 X 5 inch handhold cutouts.Maximum height of marker - 18 inchesMaximum weight of marker base - 42 pounds Accessories: 200 foot measuring tape - 2 each Round-point, D-handle shovel - 2 each Sand bag - 100 each 18 inch high, reflective orange traffic cone - 150 each EXCEPTION TO TECHNICAL ORDER 35E2-6-1 and ASSOCIATED DRAWING: The velstick (velcro loop #1000) shall be a nylon loop, 1-3/4 inches wide. The white velcro requirement has been modified to allow any suitable color available. Rapid Mat US LLC P/N EM001 PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY: The sleeving shall be packaged and packed in accordance with the latest revision of ASTM D3951, Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging. The pallets shall be 48-inch length x 40-inch width, general purpose, four-way entry, flush stringer, double face non-reversible pallets. The palletized load shall not exceed 2500 pounds in weight. The palletized load shall not overhang the pallet and shall not exceed 53 inches in overall height. Less than half pallet loads or loads shipped by small package carrier need not be palletized. UNITIZATION OF PALLET LOAD: The palletized load shall be unitized and secured to the pallet to insure that the load arrives intact. NOTICE: All lumber used inside or outside a shipment shall be BARK FREE. MARKING: Shipments to GSA and other civilian agencies shall be marked in accordance with FED-STD-123. In addition, the UPC code shall be marked on all shipping containers and shall remain clearly legible. NIB/NISH/FPI suppliers shall be exempt from UPC code requirements.
