NA SUMMARY OF CORRECTIONS & CLARIFICATIONS TO INFORMATION CONTAINED IN PRIOR SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION ANDMODIFICATIONS: **FOR ALL ITEMS QUOTED, SPECIFY THE MANUFACTURER AND MODEL NUMBER.** LINE ITEMS 0005. This line item includes both a desk and return. LINE ITEMS 0006. This line item includes both a desk and return. LINE ITEMS 0009, 0010, 0011. These line items go together as a U grouping. **LINE ITEMS 0032 THROUGH 0037 (all chairs) ARE REMOVED FROM THIS SOLICITATION. Do not quote items 0032 through 0037** CABINETS: LINE ITEMS 0054 THROUGH 0064, Custom Cabinets are to be made in the sizes specified with full center shelf and standard doors with knobs. All cabinets are in oak finish to match color of furniture with the exception of Line Item 0061, which is c herry finish. Line items 0062 and 0063 are free standing cabinet with wall unit and splash guard top with butcherblock pattern; do not quote 2-door models for line items 0062 and 0063. Construction must be wood core with oak laminate to match of other fu rniture. Color/finish sample will be provided to awardee. Will meet with awardee to approve colors. LINE ITEM 0041. RIGHT ANGLE, INWOOD (or equal) CORRECTION: OFMRDF. 12 x 28.1/4, QTY: 1 Dely: 9/15 ? 9/30/02. PANELS: System Description: MANUF: RAMPART or equal. Construction and design allows blocks to be connected to each other via a snap -H- connector and a straight connector for additional stability, blocks are non-modular and can also be freestanding, conn ector post is universal and provides connections to blocks without additional parts, all blocks are stackable in unlimited multiples up to the ceiling height, blocks are bi-directional, flexible wire management raceways have a flexible opening for lay-in w ire placement and snap into the block vertically or horizontally. CORRECTION: Panel Color is Huntington 026 with Black caps. Delivery: 9/15 ? 9/30/02.-- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/CLARIFICATION: -a- In all buildings, the Government will remove the furniture and panels before Contractor delivery. Request that delivery be coordinated with POC. Staggered deliveries could be required. -b- Installation is not required on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. -c- Buildings involved in deliveries. For quantities with delivery of 15-30 Sep 02, there are 3 buildings involved. Deliveries to Bldg 411 may not be made before 15 Sep 02. For quantities with October delivery, there are 12 buildings involved. There a re no deliveries off ground floor. All buildings are within an area of approximately 2/3 mile by 1/4 mile. -d- Offers will be evaluated based on a) Technical ability to meet the stated requirement; b) Price; and c) Delivery. Technical evaluation will be made on a MET / NOT MET basis considering the following: 1) Dimensions (exact sizes required); 2) Construc tion (wood core vs. particle; wood trim/face/door fronts/drawer interiors; wood and veneer thickness; metal vs plastic components; drawer size and features; door swing radius; locks; finish; adjustability; 3) matching of grouped items. Each product quote d that is not the model shown in the solicitation will be evaluated. Offeror must provide product literature or information that shows the features stated above; this information is needed to determine the offer?s technical acceptance. -e- All deliveries will have to be offloaded as they are installed. No depot storage locations are available. -f- The cabinets in Bldg 411, Line Items 0062 and 0063, that have the splash guard and overheads will be attached to the wall but not built to the wall. In that respect, they are free standing. -g- All quantities with delivery of 9/15-9/30/02 for Building 411 must be delivered and installed between 9/15/02-9/30/02. -h- The delivery period is specified for each stated quantity un der each line item in the prior modifications. -i- Deliveries to some areas of Building 140 must be coordinated to occur after installation of carpeting. -j- Contractor agrees to participate in any consultations needed prior to delivery to ensure successful installation. All deliveries must be coordinated in advance with designated Government representative. -k- Government is responsible for clearing movable items from areas receiving new furnishings, with prior coordination from Contractor. -l- Contractor will notify the designated Government representative no later than 5 working days prior to a planned delivery and installation. Government may accept shorter notice at its discretion on a case by case basis.
