- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR 13.1 and FAR 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only soli citation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Channel Islands Air Guard Station, has a requirement to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Firm-Fixed-Price contract, under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Par t 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items for Recruiting Billboards. The requirement is for one each double-sided outdoor information display system. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339950 and the size sta ndard is 500 employees. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns and/or Federal Supply Schedule contractors. The requirements must be in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). SCOPE: The work under this contract consists o f furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment required to erect a two-sided 12? x 24? recruitment billboard and sign near the front gate at Channel Islands Air Guard Station, Port Hueneme, California and provide a complete and useable product. DE SCRIPTION OF WORK: Fabricate and install one each double-sided outdoor billboard. Size is approximately 12 Feet x 24 Feet, double-face, center mount 27 Feet overall height sign structure. The sign(s) minimally shall include the following: a) Engineered drawings, drilled footing, shop prime and painted column and tortion tube. b) Three 2 Feet wide walkways, upper structural parts and walkways hot dipped galvanized. c) Wood sign face and two 400 watt halophane light fixtures. d) Two full color digital print on 13 ounce high gloss vinyl. The contractor shall submit a quotation at the time of bidding to include but not limited to, shop drawing and billboard print for approval. LOCATION: The site of the work is located at the Front Gate Channel Islands A ir Guard Station, Port Hueneme, California. Site Visit: 23 Aug 2002; 9:00 AM Pacific. The Period of Performance shall be 90 days. CONTRACTUAL SERVICES: The work under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment required to erect a two-sided recruitment billboard at Channel Islands Air Guard Station, Port Hueneme, California and provide a complete and useable product. Delivery and/or shipping shall be Free-On-Board Destination to Channel Islands Air Guard Station, Port Hue neme, CA. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Vendor must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov.
